Why I became a certified book coach
I began my career as an editor, working with countless authors to polish their manuscripts and make them the best they could be. But over time, I realized that what I loved most wasn’t just shaping finished work—it was helping writers through the messy, exciting process of creation. I wanted to form deeper, more collaborative relationships with the writers I worked with, so I shifted from editing to coaching. This allows me to be more hands-on from the very beginning of the writing process, providing guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies to help you get started, stay on track, and reach your goal of completing your novel.
I became a certified book coach through Author Accelerator, a company that is setting the standard for book coaching. Jennie Nash and her team not only provide amazing resources to writers, but also continue to train and educate a new generation of book coaches. Not only does an Author Accelerator teach you tips and tricks on editing and providing feedback, it also helps you start your business.
